POSITION SUMMARY
Help drive the evolution of our customer and patient wellness platforms. Senior Software Engineer helps keep our users productive, customer data clean and integrated services running smoothly and securely. The role encompasses all aspects of escalated service support for customers, patients, and users across our wellness software platforms. This position requires an analytical mindset with attention to detail, the desire to chase user- and data-related issues to resolution across multiple complex systems. You will work with a cross-functional team, collaborating with stakeholders and users across the business to identify & fix root-causes, contributing to the optimization of technology usage, process, and the overall user-experience.
- Develop and maintain high-quality code for our cloud applications, ensuring scalability and performance
- Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the company, including engineering, product, customer support, and operations
- Promote innovation, enhance code and architecture, and uphold quality and security best practices
- Serve as a mentor to team members, offering guidance and support in solving complex technical challenges.
- Be a key stakeholder of the end-to-end software development lifecycle, ensuring high-quality, timely delivery of software solutions that meet strategic requirements and delight users.
- Implement end-to-end validation protocols to verify system integration, data integrity, and the overall reliability of our healthcare technology ecosystem.
- Other duties, as required.
- 8+ years of related software development experience acting as a senior developer working on small teams building products for internal and B2C customers.
- Strong experience with C#, Entity Framework or other ORMs/Micro ORMs, .NET Core, SQL required
- Strong experience building REST APIs required
- Experience implementing API management and API operations is a plus
- Understanding of system design, cloud infrastructure, object-oriented concepts, and continuous integration
- Experience with distributed, message-based, event-driven architectures is a plus
- Experience with NoSQL Databases is a plus - Cosmos preferred
- Experience with cloud platforms a plus – Azure is preferred
- Ability to identify issues, troubleshoot, and problem-solve in a complex environment
- Comfortable with greenfield software projects from inception to delivery, as well as resourcing ongoing troubleshooting and maintenance
- Excellent written and oral communication in English and ability to succinctly explain complex technical issues
- Experience in a fast-paced startup environment or similar preferred
- Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to investigation, decision-making and outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science or a related discipline).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer with demonstrated track of increasing responsibilities
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
